Our company, Kamchatsky Medved Ltd (or Kamchatka Bear Ltd), has been operated on Kamchatka Peninsula of  Russia since 1996.
The founder and owner of the company is Sergei Pavlovsky, born in 1959. He is a biologist, an expert in wild nature surviving. Kamchatka hunting is his profile.

He worked as a professional hunter for Bolsheretsky State Enterprise located in the west coast of Kamchatka in 1987-1996 so he knows where to hunt successfully. In 1996 he decided to create his own hunting and travel company which has been successfully headed by him until the present time and grow every year.

We organize spring and fall brown bear Kumchatka hunting tours, rock capercaillie hunting, snow sheep hunting; fur-bearing animal winter hunting, and also extreme safari in our camp area including watching bears and fishing salmon.
Our company has a long-term Russian license XX№1735 for exploiting fauna objects expiring only on 30 July 2025.

Our professional guide’s teams are intimately familiar with our hunting territory, animal’s habits and peculiarities of each special hunt. Besides hunting, during summer time our company provides fishing tours and bear, bird, fish and other animals and plants watching eco-tours in wild nature and also offer just recreation in nature environment in a pure place with high level of comfort located in the forests on the territory of Verkhnegolyginsky hunting ground № 22 located in Ust-Bolsheretsky region. 

Our company secures hunting grounds – Verkhnegolyginsky hunting zone № 22 – 100,000 hectares in total, located on the south of the Kamchatka Peninsula, in 180 km from the administrative center of Kamchatka 
Our territory borders the South Kamchatka state Sanctuary where any hunting is prohibited so that along with protective measures helps keeping population of brown bear on the high level.

Our camps

The central camp is located on the shore of Lake Golyginsky – a rich spawning salmon (sockeye salmon, coho salmon, char, molokan). The camp includes several buildings:

 

 

• Guest cottage (4 rooms, 1-2 people per each), central water heating system, 4 shower cabins w/cold and hot water, 2 restrooms and a large common hall.
• Entertainment complex (total area – 320 square meters), which includes a fireplace room with a large round hearth fireplace in the center and 12 cozy armchairs around, bar, American poule table, dining room, 1 restrooms toilet, 2 sleeping rooms for 3 people each on 2 floor), kitchen, large veranda, utility rooms.
• Residential complex – a four-bedded room for guests, a kitchen, a dining room, a sauna, a warm toilet, and utility rooms.

The second camp is located in the area of hot springs on the mountain river Unkanovich, 20 km to the southwest from the Central Camp. The camp is of two buildings: one is intended for camp accommodation, food storage and cooking/dining. Guests are accommodated in a hunting lodge for 3 people. A few steps from the house there is a small indoor pool with natural hot water. All hats are stove heated. Electricity is available in diner. There are two street toilets.

The third camp is located on the shore of the spawning Golygin River, which flows into the Sea of Okhotsk. There are two buildings, one is for hunters and huntsmen with separate room living. Second one, is the dining room and kitchen. Toilet is outside. There is spawning salmon of various species in the river in the summer-autumn period. June, August – sockeye salmon; August – pink salmon; August, October – chum; September – November – Coho salmon. Golets and mikizha in the river almost all year round.
